Dear Peaks Island Families, Caregivers and Friends,

Welcome to Peaks Island Elementary School. We are proud to be a small island school nestled in the heart of Casco Bay and are a 15-minute ferry ride from Portland. We are one of ten elementary schools that are part of Portland Public Schools, which is Maine’s largest school district. We support students in grades PreK- 5th grade. We have some single grade classrooms (PreK, K, and 1) and some multi-grade classrooms (2nd/3rd  and 4th /5th).
