Portland Recreation

Portland Recreation offers an After School Recreation Program at the Peaks Community Center for grades kindergarten through grade five. This is not affiliated with Peaks Island School.

The After School Program hours start as soon as school ends and the recreation supervisor meets the students at the school  at 3:05 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)  and walks to the Community Center.  Pick up by parents is at the Peaks Community Center. The After School Program begins at 12:20 pm on Early release Wednesdays.

Kindergarten through grade five children must be registered for the Portland After School Program in order to attend. Further details can be found at the Portland Recreation website, or by phone at (207) 756-8275.
