Intermediate Curriculum

Peaks Island Curriculum - Intermediate Grades 3 - 5
	Reading Literature circles, reading response journals, vocabulary development, reading for meaning, reading for information, reading for enjoyment, using a variety of reading strategies to read increasingly complex texts and develop fluency.
Writing Writing process (expository, narrative, persuasive), mechanics, grammar, cursive.	Spelling Vowel patterns, prefixes, suffixes, roots, stems, priority words must be spelled correctly.
